Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
Welcome to CoachedUp LLC (“Company,” “we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the CoachedUp website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). Our Privacy Policy also governs your use of the Service and is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Eligibility and minors
The Service is intended for use by athletes, coaches, and parents/guardians involved in the college athletic recruiting process. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
If you are between 13 and 17 years old, you represent that a parent or legal guardian is aware of and consents to your use of the Service, including the posting of athletic highlights, statistics, and related information as part of the recruiting process. Parents and guardians may contact us at support@wearecoachedup.com to review, request correction of, or request deletion of their child's information at any time.
Coach accounts are intended for individuals 18 or older who are actively coaching, training, or otherwise working with athletes in an official or professional capacity.
3. Accounts
When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information, and to keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@wearecoachedup.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
We reserve the right to refuse service, suspend, or terminate accounts at our discretion, including where we believe a user has misrepresented their age, identity, or coaching affiliation.
4. Coach accounts and connections
Coach accounts are verified by a valid email address at account creation. CoachedUp does not independently verify coaching credentials, employment, or affiliation at this time; coaches are responsible for the accuracy of the information on their profile.
Coaches may follow athlete profiles and may send a connection request to an athlete. An athlete must accept a connection request before any direct messaging is enabled between a coach and that athlete. Athletes may decline or ignore any connection request at any time, for any reason, without explanation.
Coaches agree to use the Service solely for legitimate athletic recruiting, coaching, and evaluation purposes, and not to contact athletes in a manner that is harassing, deceptive, or unrelated to athletics.
5. Subscriptions and purchases
CoachedUp offers film evaluation services on a one-time purchase basis (currently a Starter tier and a Full tier) and may offer subscription-based services in the future. Pricing for any product or service will be presented before purchase. Payment is processed by a third-party payment processor (currently Stripe); CoachedUp does not store your full payment card details.
If a subscription is offered, it will renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled. You may cancel a subscription at any time through your account or by emailing support@wearecoachedup.com; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refund requests are considered within 14 days of purchase for film evaluation products, on a case-by-case basis. Once a personal video breakdown (Full tier) has been delivered, it is not eligible for refund.
6. Content you post
The Service allows you to post film, highlights, photographs, statistics, biographical information, and other content (“Content”). You retain ownership of Content you post. By posting Content, you grant CoachedUp a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that Content on and through the Service, and, unless you opt out in your account settings, on CoachedUp's own social media and marketing channels for the purpose of promoting athletes and the Service.
You represent that you own or have the right to post any Content you submit, and that it does not violate the rights of any other person.
Parents or guardians of a minor athlete may request removal of their child's Content at any time by contacting support@wearecoachedup.com.
7. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to use the Service to: exploit or attempt to exploit a minor in any way; harass, intimidate, or send unwanted or repeated contact to another user after being asked to stop; impersonate any person or entity; post false or misleading recruiting information; circumvent the connection/consent requirements described in Section 4; or engage in any conduct that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful to another user or to CoachedUp.
Violation of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.
8. How we share information
Our Privacy Policy describes in full how information is collected, used, and shared, including the categories of information that may be shared with third-party recruiting-adjacent partners and the choices available to you or, for younger users, your parent or guardian. Please review the Privacy Policy before using the Service.
9. Intellectual property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality, excluding Content posted by users, are the exclusive property of CoachedUp LLC. Our name, logo, and branding may not be used without prior written permission.
10. Copyright (DMCA)
We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. If you believe your copyrighted work has been used on the Service in a way that constitutes infringement, send a notice to support@wearecoachedup.com including a description of the work, the location of the allegedly infringing material, your contact information, and a statement made under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
11. Disclaimer of warranty
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL RESULT IN ANY PARTICULAR RECRUITING OUTCOME, COLLEGE OFFER, OR PLACEMENT. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COACHEDUP LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE EXCLUDED, IT IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO COACHEDUP LLC IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service, or request account deletion, at any time by contacting support@wearecoachedup.com.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date, and, where required by law or where a change materially affects the treatment of a minor's information, we will provide additional notice by email.
