1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how CoachedUp LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the CoachedUp website and mobile application (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. Terms not defined here have the meaning given in our Terms and Conditions.

2. Who this policy covers

The Service is intended for users 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it. Users between 13 and 17 use the Service with the awareness and involvement of a parent or guardian, as described in our Terms and Conditions.

3. Information we collect

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, city/state, and (for athlete accounts) sport, position, class year or JUCO status, height, weight, GPA, and NCAA ID.

• Coach account information: sport, coach type/role, program or affiliation, years coaching, prior programs, alma mater, website, and bio.

• Content you provide: film and video, photos, highlights, posts, and messages sent through the Service.

• Recruiting information: target or committed colleges and associated status (interested, offered, committed, currently playing).

• Payment information: processed directly by our third-party payment processor (currently Stripe). We do not receive or store full payment card numbers.

• Usage and device information collected automatically, such as IP address, device type, and pages visited.

4. How we use information

• To provide, operate, and improve the Service, including matching athlete profiles with interested coaches.

• To process purchases, including film evaluation orders.

• To communicate with you about your account, orders, and (where you have not opted out) CoachedUp updates and marketing.

• To maintain the safety and integrity of the Service, including enforcing the connection/consent rules between coaches and athletes.

• To conduct aggregate analysis of recruiting trends and outcomes to improve our own products and content.

5. How we share information

With other users, as part of how the Service works: athlete profile information is visible to coaches consistent with your account's visibility settings, and coach profile information is visible to athletes.

With service providers who help us operate the Service, such as payment processing, hosting, and analytics providers. These providers may only use your information to perform services for us.

We do not sell or share your personal information with third-party businesses for monetary or other valuable consideration. If this ever changes, we will update this Policy, notify users in advance, and, for any user we know to be under 16, obtain affirmative opt-in consent before any such sharing begins, consistent with state law protections for minors' data.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect the safety of a user (particularly a minor), or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of company assets.

6. Your choices and rights

• Access and correction: you (or, for a minor, their parent/guardian) may request a copy of the information we hold, or request that it be corrected, by emailing support@wearecoachedup.com.

• Deletion: you may request deletion of your account and associated information at any time.

• California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA to know what categories of information we hold and to request deletion. Since we do not sell personal information, there is no sale to opt out of at this time.

• Marketing communications: you may opt out of marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link or by emailing support@wearecoachedup.com.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Parents/guardians may request earlier deletion of a minor's information as described above.

8. Data security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember preferences, and, where applicable, measure the performance of our own marketing. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

10. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Parents who believe their child under 13 has provided us information should contact support@wearecoachedup.com so we can delete it.

For users 13–17, we rely on parental awareness and involvement rather than the stricter verifiable-parental-consent process required for children under 13. Parents and guardians may contact us at any time to review or request deletion of their teen's information.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes, and any change that affects how a minor's information is shared, will be posted here with an updated effective date, and where required by law, we will provide additional notice by email before the change takes effect.
